Check your eligibility and create an account. Any UK-based business in tourism, leisure should apply.

Step 2

Upload documents

Provide evidence that shows you have complied with UK legislation for your sector. You’ll need to supply:

  • A public liability insurance certificate
  • Employment liability insurance certificate
  • Food hygiene grading evidence
  • Fire safety risk assessment
Step 3

Sign up to our charter

Confirm you'll adhere to key responsibilities and the Visitor Ready charter including:

  • GDPR and data security
  • Equality and diversity
  • Carbon monoxide legislation
  • Customer service requirements
 
 
Step 4

Get your digital badge

Our specialists will confirm your business meets all criteria. Approved businesses get the following assets:

  • A Visitor Ready digital badge
  • Digital wallet containing all your compliance details
  • Email reminders when it's time to update your documents
  • Regular updates on legislation changes and other news

 

Frequently Asked Questions

The eligibility assessment and application will take 20 minutes to complete if you have all your documentation ready.

You’ll need digital copies of the following documents:

Public liability insurance (Please ensure that public liability is specified in the schedule and the date is shown.

Employment liability insurance (This is applicable if you employ staff part or full time).

Fire risk assessment (The assessment or review date must be present on the document and not older than 24 months.)

Gas safety certificate (If applicable to your property.)

Food hygiene rating (This is applicable to restaurant and food outlets. Please supply your food agency website URL reference.)

If you don’t have all the documents, you can save your progress and log in again to add them later.

 

 

If you have more than 10 businesses then we can help you get the accounts set up, but you will still have to provide the documentation for each business. There is the option to add another account user to help with this process.
